Power Secretary Pankaj Agarwal reviews SJVN hydro projects in Himachal Pradesh

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) is observing Swachhata Pakhwada at its officies across India to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
According to a statement, the campaign highlights its continued commitment towards the vision of a cleaner, healthier, and greener nation. POWERGRID is a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power.

During the observance, the employees of the company took the ‘Swachhata Pledge’ and reaffirmed their commitment towards maintaining cleanliness at workplace, communities as well as daily lives.

Also, they took part in the Swachhata cleanliness drive around office premises and vicinity. This was aimed at maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
The drive was undertaken in the presence of Vamsi Rama Mohan Burra, CMD; G. Ravisankar, Director (Finance); Dr Yatindra Dwivedi, Director (Personnel); Naveen Srivastava, Director (Operations); and senior officials at Corporate Centre, Gurugram.
Further, a Nukkad Natak was organised to make people aware about cleanliness.
As on May 30, POWERGRID operates 291 substations, over 185,102 circuit km of transmission lines and 628,516 MVA of transformation capacity. The company has consistently maintained an average transmission system availability of more than 99.78 per cent with the adoption of advanced technologies along with effective utilisation of automation and digital solutions.
